Functie omschrijving Marketing Manager Benelux

The Marketing Manager is a senior member of the Benelux Marketing and Sales Team and represents the Benelux as a constituent of the Northern Leadership Team. The role reports to the General Manager Northern Europe.

Responsibilities Include:

  • As a member of the North Region Leadership Team, contribute to the business strategy and development of Northern Europe.
  • Key contributor through the business planning process and the final development of the Benelux Annual Business Plan.
  • Analyses the market place to identify key areas of opportunity to drive growth and anticipate future trends/changes to create sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Leads the development of strong brand positioning in the Benelux to provide relevance and differentiation to drive consumer choice.
  • Exploits the brand positioning by leading the development of the marketing strategy for the Benelux as well as the execution of marketing campaigns in line with Regional and North European structures.
  • Develops KOL strategy and builds and maintains strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, key customers, suppliers and government agencies. Active relationship building at the local and regional level in order to create positive impact on business goals.
  • Institute methods for tracking, measuring, and reporting on the ROI of various marketing activities.
  • Identify warning signs when programs or strategies do not meet the business bottom line, and its significant effect to opportunities, cost, benefits and risks. Uses this information for creation of integrated business plan and appropriate actions to reverse the situation.
  • Leads the development of Financial Business projections to be delivered annually in March, June and August.
  • Responsible for the production and management of business metrics: KPI’s Sales, EBIT, market Share, demand forecast accruals, Financial projection accuracy, expense control.
  • Leads the preparation and creation of the Benelux Demand Plan.
  • Fosters strong working relationships with Local and Regional Marketing Teams.
  • Creates opportunities to network with peers across the European Region.

Functie eisen [funtie_o]

  • Educated to Bachelors Degree Level, with graduate or post graduate qualification in Marketing preferred
  • Minimum 10 years directly related work experience, preferably in corporate sales or international marketing departments in Europe.
  • Strong financial acumen, experience of building and managing budgets
  • Direct experience or exposure to sales and marketing in a health care environment.
  • Successful track record in coordinating and managing projects.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work in a high matrixed organization and department.
  • Demonstrated bias for action; successfully operating with lean resources in a rapidly growing business.
  • Experience in working with external agencies and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight timelines.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and collaborate across functions.
